Elizabeth "Betty" (née Chable) Hein

Elizabeth "Betty" Hein (née Chable) passed away peacefully at Hospice Quinte on August 13, 2026, at the age of 94. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund Hein and a devoted mother to Janis Easton and Bruce Hein (Jane). Betty was a cherished grandmother to Mathew, Trevor, and Garrett. She was the daughter of the late Ernie and Ethel Chable and is survived by her sister, Phyllis, and sister-in-law, Agnes. Betty will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and their families. Cremation has taken place, with interment to be held at a later date. The family appreciates memorial donations to Hospice Quinte. Arrangements are entrusted to Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa.
