Sally (nee Trotechaud) Sauve
Sally Sauve (nee Trotechaud) passed away peacefully at her home on May 5, 2026, at the age of 96, with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell Sauve for 65 years. Sally was the loving mother of Jim Sauve (late Mary) and Dennis Sauve (Sue). She was cherished by her grandchildren, Dana Mann (Brian) and Jaclyn Litynski (Nathan), and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Riley, and Chloe Marchand, and Rowan and Emery Litynski. Sally is predeceased by her brothers, Vince Trotechaud (Theresa), Victor Trotechaud (Alice), and Joe Trotechaud (Jeannette), and sisters, Joanna Springer (Lyle), Loretta Hebert (Larry), and Alice Laporte (Edward). She will also be missed by her special niece and nephew, Mary Rose Gelissen (John) and Kevin Seguin, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be held at Melady Funeral Home on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at St. Simon & St. Jude Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated.
