Edward Lucien Depatie

Edward Depatie passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 74, at Windsor Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Lori (nee Godin) and adored father of Joanne Rivest (Jeff) and John (Stephanie Brockman). Edward was the Best Papa in the world to Kyle Rivest (Katie), Lauren Rivest Colenutt (Colt), Erin Depatie, Conner Rivest (Mya), Katherine Rivest (Dustin), Loving Old Papa to Beau and Kaiya Trowbridge, and devoted Poppy to Maisie and Jackson Rivest and Harper, Brooke, and Thea Colenutt. He was predeceased by his parents, Lucien Depatie and Stella and Tom McConnell, siblings Jackie Robbie, Diane Terava, Donna Lavergne, and Gerry, Larry, Marcel, and Donnie Depatie. Edward is lovingly remembered by siblings Ernie, Bobby (Gisele), Norman (Brenda), Andy (Jeff), Lucien, and sisters and brothers-in-law Tim Robbie, Stan Terava, Lise Bisson, Deena Depatie, and Rick Lavergne. He will be deeply missed by his extended family, including his mother and father-in-law Joan and George Godin (both predeceased), sisters and brothers-in-law Joan and Morley Doherty, Janet and Rick Doherty, George Godin (the late Barbara), and Pat and Norman Vanier. Edward will be remembered fondly by many nephews and nieces, neighbours, and dear friends.
