Dorothy Evelyn Fendley (Dottie)

Dorothy Evelyn Fendley (Dottie) passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2023, at the age of 76. She was the beloved mom of Cyndi and Melissa, mom-in-law to Talbot Sweeney and Phil Smith, and big sister to Mike McArter and his wife Susan. She is predeceased by her sister Susan. Dot will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Autumn, Amelia, Dillon Sweeney, and Quinn Fendley Smith. In keeping with her wishes, cremation is taking place. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating her life on December 20 at 4:00 p.m. ADT at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 5522 Russell St, Halifax. Her celebration will also be live-streamed for friends and family afar. She will be laid to rest alongside her predeceased parents Ruth and Bob McArter at Brampton Cemetery in Spring 2024.
