Mr Alan George CAMERON (Al)

Alan George Cameron (Al) passed peacefully after a long struggle with dementia on April 30, 2025, at the age of 83, while under care at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital. He is predeceased by his loving life companion, Mariee (2022), and his parents, Duncan and Barbara Cameron (nee Lane). Alan is lovingly survived and remembered by his twin sister, Virginia Wilson (nee Cameron), his brother Art (Sue) Cameron, and his sister, Joyce Hissa (nee Cameron). He is also survived by his children, Denise (Jim) Boychuk (nee Murphy) and Chris (Carm) Murphy, his grandchildren, Matthew, Arron, Megan Boychuk and Alena Murphy, and his great-granddaughter, Echo (Arron), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Old Stone Church Cemetery in Beaverton on Monday, June 9th, at 11:00 a.m. If so desired, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice.
