William Maxwell Hale

William Maxwell Hale of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 98. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne, and his brother, Eric (Faye). William was the proud father of Wayne (Lisa), Terry (Anne), Carol, Ann (Terry), and Karen (Dave). He cherished his grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda), Tyler (Emma), Ben (Kate), Shawna (Mike), Kristen, and Nicholas, as well as his great-grandchildren, Gregory, Bruce, Oliver, and Scott. He was predeceased by his parents, Ella and George, and his siblings, Mamie, Melita, Harold, Alphonse, Maida, Ella, Helena, Clayton, and Lovelette. Visitation took place on October 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Salvation Army Barrie Citadel, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM and burial at Barrie Union Cemetery.
