Wayne Hiram Bessey

Wayne Hiram Bessey of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born on December 8, 1942. Wayne is predeceased by his beloved wife Judith, son James, granddaughter Taylor, and close friend Sharon. He is survived by his siblings, Brian and Judy (Mitch), and his children, Donna, Kimberly, Lisa (Stephen), Carla (Grant), and Darren (Laurie). He also leaves behind his daughter-in-law Connie, grandchildren Brittany, Lawrence (Jennifer), Justin, Madison (Michael), MacKenzie (Taylor), Brady (Lili), Jennifer, Bree-Anna (Tristan), and Rebecca, as well as great-grandchildren AJ, Brooklyn, Charlie, Quincy, Alara, Arizona, Malcolm, and Mabelle. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ferndale Banquet Hall, located at 24 Ferndale Industrial Dr, Barrie, ON L4N9V6. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Wayne's honor.
