Susan Lillian Hunt (Sue)
Sue Hunt passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 84, after a short illness and a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Born on September 6, 1941, to Mildred and Clen Leitch in Guelph, Ontario, Sue graduated from McMaster University in 1963 and went on to have a teaching career in English, Physical Education, and ESL, teaching at various locations including RCAF Station Zweibrücken in West Germany, Kingsville High School, and Turner Fenton Secondary School in Brampton. She was also a fitness instructor and sports coach, teaching many people the importance of health and activity. Sue is survived by her children, William and his wife Wendy, and Erin and her husband Martin; her grandsons, Kieran and Terry; and her dogs, Schneider and Jake. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Seasons Milton, Milton District Hospital, Amica Little Lake, and the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie for their care during the last few years. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, and donations in Sue's memory can be made to MS Canada.
