Peter Letwin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Letwin of Barrie, Ontario, who departed this life on September 15, 2026, at the age of 89. Peter was born on May 1, 1937. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Helen Letwin, and his daughter, Jeanette. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Soluk, and their son, Frank. Peter also leaves behind his children, Michelle (Randy), Mario (Sandra), Charlene (Bruce), Steve (Lynn), Peter (Margaret), and John (Janine). He was a proud grandfather to Steven (Jessica), Lindsay (Mitch), Erin (Kyle), Ashley (Dan), Keiran, Matthew, Justin (Shaughnessy), Sarah (Ben), Stephanie (Mike), Lorissa (Drew), Lyndon (Alyssa), Landen, Christopher, Jonathan, Alysha, Jacob (Sydney), Mitchell (Queenie), and Zachary, as well as great-grandfather to Holden, Connor, Harper, Payton, Harrison, Samuel, Charles, Auston, Calloway, Palmer, Lucus, Valerie, Nathan, Olivia, Liam, and Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peter may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or The Canadian Wildlife Federation.
