Michael Dannie Morris

The family announces the passing of Michael Dannie Morris of Barrie, Ontario on October 8, 2026. Born on May 24, 1959, Michael was surrounded by many meaningful relationships throughout his life. He is survived by his wife, Cathy; his children, Chris (Megan), Candice (Peter), Rob (Christine), and Shayna (Daniel); his grandchildren, Lucas, Lydia, Henry, and Clara; his parents, Dannie Morris and Thersea Morris; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Beverly MacDonald; and his siblings, Maurina, Dan (Leslie), and Keith. A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Church, located at 13 Baldwin Ln, Barrie, ON L4N2W1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
