Lesley Phyllis (Lightfoot) Thorn

Lesley Phyllis (Lightfoot) Thorn of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on January 2, 1953, Lesley was a beloved member of her family and community. She is survived by her husband Tom, children Meghan, Katie (Brad), and David (Shannon), and grandchildren Bennett and Avey. Lesley is also remembered by her siblings, Deborah (late Dean) and Dave (Vicki), brothers-in-law James and Brian, and her nieces and nephews, Grant (Basia), Scott (Teena), Kevin (Ashley), Sarah (Matt), and Joshy. Visitation will take place at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home on September 17 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and September 18 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A reception will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Simcoe.
