Kenneth Alfred Tumber

Kenneth Alfred Tumber of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born on July 2, 1946. He is survived by his wife Beatrice; his children Bernadette Merk (married to Ronald), Kent Tumber (married to Lucia) and Danielle Hutt (married to Jason); his grandchildren Madison, Mallory, MacKenzie, Memphis, Myles, Owen, Ethan, Chloe and Jackson; and his brother Ronald, who was predeceased by his spouse Carolyn. Extended family members and friends also survive him. Visitation was held on Monday, August 10, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Steckley‑Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, ON. A funeral service took place on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in St. George's Anglican Church, 9 Granville Street, Barrie, ON, followed by a reception from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the same location. The family requests memorial donations to the Lupus Foundation of Canada.
