She was predeceased by her husband, Burkley Giroux, and her siblings Lorne, Jack, Arleene, Joyce, Betty and Ruth. She is survived by her children Donna and Ted (married to Diana); her grandchildren Don (married to Samantha), Melissa (married to Clayton), Emily and Alex; her great‑grandchildren Charlotte, Evie, Asher and Felix; and her sister Marg Lorraine. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory.
