John Gerard Fitzgerald

John Gerard Fitzgerald of Barrie, Ontario, was born on December 12, 1952, and died on July 15, 2026, at the age of 73. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Fitzgerald, and his brothers Ron and Barry. He is survived by his wife Julie; his sons Jason (married to Laura), William (married to Karin), Ronald, and John (married to Rhonda); his grandchildren Matthew, Jacqueline, Victoria, Kathryn, Andrew, Melody, Jessie, April, and Lee Ann; his great‑grandchildren Hayden, Emmett, Mackenzie, and Amber; and his siblings Clyde (married to Ruby), Teresa, and Jerome (married to Sandra). A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Traditions Banquet Hall, Sheba Shrine, 142 John Street, Barrie, ON L4N 2L2. The family requests memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Jack.
