James Dietrich

James Dietrich was born on November 18, 1935, and died on August 1, 2026, at the age of 90. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Elizabeth Dietrich, and by his siblings Adam (Olive), George (Cathie), Charles (Helene), Mary (Al), Irma, and Eileen (Ernie). He is survived by his wife Florence Badour, his son Paul (Barbara), his brothers Herb (Patti), Ray (Marlene) and Ron (Sharon), his children Michael (Karen), Brian, Linda and Kevin, and his grandchildren Melissa, Jonathan, Natasha, James, Harrison, Noah, Isabelle, Sebastian and Emilie. Visitation took place on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent St., Barrie, Ontario. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. John Vianney Parish, 13 Baldwin Ln., Barrie, followed by a reception at the same location from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Flowers and condolences may be sent to the family, and messages of sympathy may be left on the memorial page.
