Helen Lorene (Metcalfe) Beintema

Helen Lorene Beintema, née Metcalfe, of Barrie, Ontario, was born on December 20, 1946 in Newmarket, Ontario, and died on August 5, 2026, at the age of 79. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Muriel Metcalfe, and her sister, Margerite Fairbarn. Survivors include her children Kevin (married to Angela), Jason (married to Julie) and Kim (married to Brad); grandchildren Darrin, Courtney, Avery and Morgan; siblings Robert Meltcalfe (married to Pat) and Dorothy Mullens (married to Wally); and niece Mary Ann Kotylak. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation.
