Gary Gilbert Cooper of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Edna, and his siblings, Delores, Gladys and Ralph. He is survived by his wife Diane; his siblings‑in‑law, Vern Bates and Marion Cooper; his children, Gary Jr., Colleen and Kevin (Najette); his grandchildren, Steven, Holly, Jordan, Justin, Katie and Dominic; his great‑grandchildren, Aleeah, Jameson, Shelby, Sage and Lyla; his nieces and nephews; and his pet, Cooper. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
