Emma Louise (Walton) Verbeem

Emma Louise Verbeem, formerly Walton, of Barrie, Ontario, died on July 23, 2026, at the age of 51. She was predeceased by her grandparents Bram and Marion Ogden, William and Joan Walton, and her great‑grandparent Edith Smith. Survivors include her parents Diane and Harold Walton (Margaret), her son Ian, her siblings Sara and Alexander, and her nieces and nephews Jack, Carter and Ryan. A celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Traditions Banquet Hall, 142 John Street, Barrie, ON L4N 2L2. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre Foundation.
