The family announces the passing of Catherine Gartner-Hillock of Barrie, Ontario, on October 9, 2026, at the age of 74. Catherine was born on April 13, 1952. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Hillock. Catherine is survived by her sons, Sean Harris and Ryan Harris; her grandchildren, Leo Harris and Nova Harris; her siblings, Becky, Sue, Judy, and Mike; and her pets, Kahlua, Tesla, Milo, Tia, and Gizmo. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, located at 30 Worsley St, Barrie, ON L4M1L4. Donations in Catherine's memory may be made to Matthew's House Hospice.
