Anne MacDonald

Anne MacDonald of Barrie, Ontario, born on January 13, 1936, passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis Andrew Ryan and Mary Jessie Campbell; her husband, James Edmund MacDonald; her siblings, John Francis, Neil, Marty, Johnny, Theresa Claire, and Mary-Catherine; her siblings-in-law, Arthur Bock, William MacDonald, Danial MacDonald, and Rose Jessome; and her son-in-law, Ian Baker. Anne is survived by her children, Sylvia Langpohl (Herb) and James Ian MacDonald; her grandchildren, James-Lee MacDonald (Kroy), Noelle Blum (Shane), Hope Baker, and Santiago MacDonald; and her siblings, Joan MacDonald, Bette Turnbull (Ed), Sally Maloney (Earl), Geri Bock, and Danny Ryan (Mary-Lou). Visitation will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM. The family requests that donations be made to St. Mary's and the Missions, Chatsworth Outreach, or any Owen Sound food bank.
