Ann Carolyn TIMPSON

Ann Carolyn Timpson passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2025, at the age of 82, while on a cruise in Europe. She is survived by her three brothers, Bob (Norma), Gord (Janet), and Bruce (Ruth), as well as many nieces and nephews, including Brent and Julie, David and Geoff, Caroline, Donald, and Mary, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Timpson, who passed away one day later on the same cruise. Ann had a varied work career, including time teaching public school in Newmarket, two years as an Overseas Volunteer Teacher in Taiwan, and many years answering questions on the help line at the Toronto Reference Library. She was a long-time member at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Aurora and later joined St. Paul's Anglican Church in Barrie after her wedding. A celebration of life service and reception for both Ann and George will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 54 St. Paul's Cres., Barrie, ON L4N 0M2.
