Adrian Van

The family announces the passing of Adrian Van of Barrie, Ontario, on October 12, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on September 25, 1951, Adrian was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents, Govert and Pietronella (van Beek), his brother Ruddie Vandelaar, and his stepdaughter Allyson Wilson. Adrian is survived by his wife Janet; his children, Tayte, Chase, and Jayda; his stepdaughter Vanessa Oevering (Brandon); his grandchildren, Reilynn and Gracelyn; his siblings, Anna Thew (Doug), Joanne Bertram (Jim), and John; and his caregiver Colleen Boyd-Wormsley. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, located at 101 Ardagh Rd, Barrie, ON L4N9B6. A funeral service took place on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location.
