Wayne Douglas Porter, born on October 6, 1955, passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on May 14, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born in Barrie, Ontario. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Wayne is survived by his wife Pamela, with whom he shared almost 50 years of marriage, and their four children: Nicholas, Tim, Julianna (Dave), and Brittany. He also leaves behind his five grandchildren: Owen, Morgan, Alice, Bronwyn, and Lilith. The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who has helped them. Donations in Wayne's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
