James "Jim" Edward Bannerman passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie on June 8, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born on July 28, 1939. Jim was the son of the late James and Margaret Bannerman. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie "Marj" (nee Ebertt), and his loving children, Brenda, David (Deb), Mark, and Todd (Tracey). Jim was a proud grandfather of Kaitlyn, Cody, Mitchell, and Emily. He is also survived by his dear brother, Bryan (Linda), and nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his sister, Lorraine, brother-in-law, Earl, brother, Douglas, and sister-in-law, Mercedes. In keeping with Jim's wishes, there will be no funeral service or celebration of life. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Jim.
