15 May Johannes (Joop) Van Der Linde

Johannes (Joop) Van Der Linde passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 92, in the presence of loved ones at Mill Creek Centre in Barrie, Ont. Born on September 13, 1933, in Loosduinen, Netherlands, Johannes was predeceased by his wife, Hendrika, who passed away in July 2025. He is fondly remembered by his children, John (Hans), Rick, and Bonnie, his grandchildren, Robin, Chris, Erin, Taylor, Dylan, Megan, David, and Maddy, and nine great-grandchildren. Johannes was also predeceased by his son, Ronald, and his grandson, Michael Van Der Linde. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
