Thomas Roger Armstrong
Thomas Roger Armstrong, our beloved father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and husband, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the age of 84. Born in Windsor, Ontario, on March 17, 1942, Thomas was the son of Thomas Cornelius and Meryle Katheryn (Kersey) Armstrong. He worked at Thibodeau-Finch Transport LTD for many years. Thomas was a devoted and loving father, known for his strong work ethic, his booming laugh, and his willingness to help anyone. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 34 years, Jacqueline Ann (Jackie), and their daughter Kimberly Anne Ferry. He was also predeceased by his sister Carole Mae and his brother Bradley James. Thomas is survived by his son, John (Lorraine), and their children, Paisley, Jack (fiancée Tatiyaana), and Sahara Armstrong. He is also survived by his great grandson, Myles Thomas Armstrong, and siblings Marva, Deborah, Sharell, Robert, and Lawrence. A small Celebration of Life will be held on May 29, 2026, at 1:00 pm at 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, Ontario. All friends and family are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in his honour. Interment to follow on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:30 pm at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery, 111 Russel St. W. Thornbury, Ontario.
