Nellie Kaoru Sugiura of Aurora, Ontario, passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 95. She is predeceased by her siblings Harold, Yoi, Patrick, and Jacqueline. Nellie Kaoru is survived by her children Tobin and his spouse Hutoxi, and Jodi and her spouse Jean-Marc. She is also survived by her siblings Lucy and her spouse Robert, Evelyn and her spouse Arny, and Jessie, whose spouse Chris predeceased her. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren Meaghan and her spouse Jason, Ariana, Anyta, Ryan Andrew and his spouse Maria, and Justin, as well as her great-grandchild Carter.
