William JASTRUBECKI

William Jastrubecki passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband and life partner of the late Barbara Anne Jastrubecki. William was the cherished father of David and Tammy Jastrubecki and Corinne Jastrubecki, and devoted grandfather to Justyna and Brian Bleich, Dianne and Jason Jastrubecki, Stephanie and Bill Beattie, and David and Bailey Jastrubecki. He was also the adored great-grandfather to Reece, Avery, Madison, Logan, and Quinn. William was predeceased by his parents, Waszl and Justyna Jastrubecki, and his brother, Fred Beck. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, including Terri and Henry West, Cathy and Andy Beck, and Bob and Karen Beck. Born on May 27, 1936, William grew up on the family farm in Churchville, Ontario. He attended Brampton High School and earned his pilot's license at the Brampton Flying Club. William was a proud member of Ironworkers Local 736 in Hamilton, with 55 years of service. The family extends thanks to Dr. Bob MacMillan, Dr. Steven Baker, and his team at McMaster Hospital, and Dr. Mathew Greenway for their care, as well as the staff at Shaver Hospital.
