Viola Theresa Knebel

Viola Theresa Knebel of St. Catharines, Ontario, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on February 7, 1945, she is fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Viola is survived by her husband, Emil Knebel; daughters, Tricia Knebel (Lawrence) and Marlene Sinn (Andrew); grandsons, Tomas and Mark; and brothers, Bill (Rosalyn) and Art (Lorraine). Visitation will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and again from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at George Darte Funeral Home, located at 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4Y1. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Ave, St. Catharines, ON L2T3K2. In lieu of flowers, donations in Viola's memory may be made to Hotel Dieu Shaver, honoring her many years of dedicated service.
