Steve Beardsall

Steve Beardsall passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at the age of 71, at Hopewell Hospice in Queensland, Australia, surrounded by love. Born in Toronto, Ontario, in 1954, Steve was the son of Paul and Gwen Beardsall. He grew up in Chatham with his siblings Sharon, Geri, and Scott. Steve managed the St. Thomas branch of The Sound Shop, where he met his wife, Janice Kinny, and they married in 1977. Together, they had sons Jason and Sean and built a life that took them across Canada and the world. Steve had a respected career in the oil and natural gas industry, working for several companies before retiring to the Gold Coast of Australia. He is survived by his wife Jan, sons Jason and Sean, granddaughters Jade and Livia, sisters Sharon and Geri, and several in-laws and relatives.
