Robert "Bob" Gordon ALBU

Robert 'Bob' Gordon Albu passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Nancy (nee Bates). Bob was the cherished father of Nick (Marilyn) Albu, Vicki (Jerry) Romanoff, Julie (Roger) Jamieson and a loving grandfather of Nicolas (Jaclyn), Kevin (Rachel), Jason, Joshua, Hugh, Colin. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews, extended family and dear friends. Bob was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Victoria (nee Oltean) Albu, and his sister, Evelyn (Don) Dolan. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at St. Columba Anglican Church, visiting Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 11 am. Interment will take place at a later date. In memory of Bob, memorial contributions may be made to St. Columba Anglican Church, and would be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines.
