Rita Dorothy ROSS

Rita Dorothy Ross passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her husband Chet Ross in 2023. Rita is lovingly remembered by her children, Rick and his wife Angie, Steve, and Sandra and her husband Keith Gowans. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Christian, Abbie, and Aidan. Rita is survived by her siblings, Eddie and John, and was predeceased by her siblings Estelle, Josie, Mary, Helen, Veronica, Janet, Walt, Joe, Cyril, Stan, Ray, and Anthony. She will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members. Friends are invited to join the family at the George Darte Funeral Home, where visitation will take place on Sunday, June 7, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with vigil prayers at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass in celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 8th, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m., followed by the rite of committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
