Richard BAKOWSKI

Richard 'Rick' Bakowski passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, at the age of 68, at the St. Catharines Marotta Family Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 28, 1958, Rick is survived by his son, Cameron, daughter, Kaitlin (John), granddaughters, Ella and Laney, brothers, John (Bonnie) and Stanley (Maureen). He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Joseph and Nina Bakowski. Rick dedicated many years of his career to General Motors. He found happiness in listening to music, spending time with his lifelong friends Larry and Big Bud (Paul), caring for animals, sharing good food, and making memories with those he loved most. Visitation will be held at Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St., Vineland on Thursday, June 25, 2-4 p.m. and again 6-8 p.m. A service will be held Friday, June 26, at 11am in the chapel. In Memoriam donations to any of The Walker Cancer Clinic, the Niagara Health - Marotta Family Hospital or the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Foundation would be welcomed.
