Renee Shelley (née Dykstra) GIRARD

Renee Shelley Girard, née Dykstra, passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 57. She is survived by her husband, Mike, and their children, Brayden, Kevin, and Chantal, as well as her grandchildren, Theo and Nolan. Renee is also survived by her mother, Jane Dykstra, and her brother, Allan Dykstra Jr. She was predeceased by her father, Allan Dykstra Sr. Renee worked as an educational assistant and was devoted to her work, making a positive impact on the lives of her students. A visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Home on July 10, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A ceremony will take place on July 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of life.
