Peter Henry Morro

Peter Henry Morro passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife, Diane Morro (née Madison), and their children Pete (married to Dena), Sue (married to Dave), and Bob. His grandchildren are Mike, Kristy, Jonathan, Jess, Jeremy, Matthew and Amy, and his great-grandchildren are Tyson, Zaya, Samantha, Beth, Amelia and Lily. He was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, serving for 37 years, and later spent 15 years with the Niagara Regional Police before retiring. Morro was a self‑taught harmonica player who performed with local musicians, an accomplished wood carver whose airplane carvings are displayed in Canadian air museums, and a prolific letter writer with more than 200 pieces published in the Standard.
