Mary Susa

Mary Susa of St. Catharines, Ontario, passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on June 30, 1942, she is predeceased by her parents, Jozef and Agnes Hocevar, her husband Alojz Susa, and her son Ed Susa. Mary is survived by her son Tony Susa and his wife Christine, along with her grandchildren Nicholas and Audrey Susa. She is also remembered by her sister Josephine Vrhovsek and her husband Vinko, her niece Helen Wiley, her nephew John Vrhovsek, and extended family in Slovenia, as well as many friends. A memorial gathering will take place on September 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at George Darte Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on September 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, followed by a service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
