Lydia Colonna

The family announces the passing of Lydia Colonna on August 31, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on March 5, 1932, Lydia was deeply loved by her husband, Pietro, and her parents, Domenico Fontana and Giovanna Ommi. She is survived by her children, Sylvana Lagrotteria (the late Domenic), Rossana Colonna-Spagnolo (Tony), and Daniela Sirotnik (Michael), along with her grandchildren, Paolo Lagrotteria (Sheryl), Danny Lagrotteria (Maryrose), Mario Lagrotteria (Paula), David Lagrotteria (Melanie), Marc Sirotnik (Olivia), Pier Spagnolo (Mackenzie), Marilena Spagnolo, Brianna Sirotnik (Noah), and her great-grandchildren, Sophia, Rhys, Aubrey, Tessa, Marcus, Macie, Samuel, Nicholas, Joshua, and Nathan. Visitation took place on September 4, 2026, at George Darte Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church on September 5, 2026. An entombment was held at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to Therapy Tails are appreciated.
