Louise McDERMOTT

Louise McDermott, a resident of St. Catharines, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on July 11, 1945, she was the eldest daughter of Donald and Elsie Male. Louise had a successful career with London Life Insurance Company and enjoyed attending local live theatre productions, shopping, and reading mystery and romance novels. She was a devoted animal lover, particularly fond of cats. Louise will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Tara, grandchildren Christopher and Ashlyn, and great-grandchildren Kael, Karter, Kasen, Deacon, and Aspen. She is also survived by her sister Mary Anne, brother-in-law Brian, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Louise was predeceased by her parents Donald Male and Elsie Male. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of Extendicare for their care and compassion.
