Kenneth Charles MacDONALD

Kenneth Charles MacDONALD passed away peacefully on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on March 19, 1942, in Glace Bay, Cape Breton, Ken was the devoted husband of Brenda MacDonald, with whom he shared 47 years. He was a proud father of Blair, Leigh-Anne, Kelly (Trevor), and the late Kenny (2019), and a loving grandfather of Cody, Joshua, Megan, and Rileigh. Ken is survived by his sisters, Gertrude Taylor and Rella Pizzingrilli (Robert), and brother-in-law, Gerry Mason. He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Faith (née Ransom); his sister, Sharon Mason; brother-in-law, Robert Taylor; nephew, Robert Taylor; and niece, Shari Pizzingrilli. A Celebration of Life will be held in the upper hall from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Millennium Trail Nursing Home, where Ken was considered and treated like family.
