Josephine Sweet (Josie)

Josephine Sweet, born on July 9, 1937, passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 89. She is predeceased by her daughter, Linda Sweet, and her brother, Joe Sweet. Josephine is survived by her sons, John Sweet (Yvette) of Moncton, NB, and Paul Sweet (Heather) of Ridgeville, ON, along with her grandchildren, Daryl (Maggie), Kate (Brian), and Kelly. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories for her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 321 Geneva St, St. Catharines, ON L2N 2G3. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Christian Benefit Shop or the Hotel Dieu Shaver Foundation, where she volunteered for many years.
