Joseph "Ron" HARRIS

Joseph 'Ron' Harris passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 101, at the NHS-St. Catharines Site. He was the husband of the late Iris. Ron is lovingly remembered by his children, Marie-Louise Harris, William Harris, and Peter Harris. He was a much loved Papa of Bradley McCallum, Michael McCallum, Liam Harris, and Johnny Harris, and a Great Grandfather of Violet Harris and Carter McCallum. Ron is also survived by his sister Sally D'Cruz of Australia, as well as his many nieces, nephews, family, and friends around the world. Family and friends will gather at the George Darte Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines, at 11 a.m., followed by the Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, or Therapy Tails Ontario would be appreciated.
