Joseph Martin

Joseph E. Martin, born on August 8, 1940, in New Waterford, Nova Scotia, passed away on April 4, 2026, in St. Catharines, Ontario, at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of the late Diana Martin, née Brooks, and a devoted father to his son, Paul Martin, and his wife Charlene, and his daughter, Cathy Cyr, née Martin, and her husband, Glen. Joseph was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joseph E. Martin will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the warmth, skill, and generosity he brought to every day. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 11, 2026, at 10 a.m., at Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2250 Highway 20, Fonthill. All who wish to pay their respects are welcome to join us.
