Janet Elizabeth KOK
Janet Kok passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the age of 67, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children, Adrian Visser (Alia), Derek Visser, and Jenny Ferrelli (Dave), and by her grandchildren, Harlow, Vienna, and Rhema. She is also survived by her father, Andre Kok, who was predeceased by his wife Jenny in 2023. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings, Brian (Mary), Mary-Ann Dykstra (Marty), Linda DePottie, who was predeceased by her husband Ron in 2023, Diana Schouls (Harvey), Anita Small (Chris), and her many nieces and nephews. Janet lived with Parkinson's for ten years. The family is thankful for the love, prayers, and support received from family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time, and extends a special thank you to Hospice Niagara and Maple Park Lodge for their attentive care. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fonthill, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:30 a.m. at Faith Fellowship Christian Reformed Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Hospice Niagara.
