James William MCDONALD

James William McDonald passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 83. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Barbara, his son Scott and daughter-in-law Jayne, his grandchildren Daniel and Steven, and his great-grandson Enzo. He is also survived by his sisters Peggy and Kathy. James was predeceased by his parents Helen and Ken, and his sister Betty. He had a distinguished career at TRW in St. Catharines, spanning 35 years, and proudly served in the 10th Battery R.C.A. from 1959 to 1985, retiring as a Master Warrant Officer. After his retirement, he worked as an independent contractor for the Canadian Army Simulation Centre in Kingston for 20 years. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Marotta Family Hospital and the helpful neighbours and friends. A private interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services Inc.
