James Roland Sullivan

James Roland Sullivan passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, at the age of 78, after many years of health struggles. He was surrounded by those who loved him in his final days. Born on March 28, 1948, in Sault Saint Marie, to the late Florence and Alfred Sullivan, James was a loving and devoted husband to his late wife Sharon Sullivan, with whom he was married for 54 years. He was an amazing father to his three children, James, Sean, and Patricia, and will be deeply missed. James is survived by his sons James and his wife Shawna, and Sean, and daughter Patricia, as well as his grandchildren, Alexandra, Anna, Skylar, Cheyenne, Kendra, Dakota, Ireland, and Makbel, and 4 great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Henry, Malia, and Riley. He is also survived by his brother Rick and his wife Penny, and his sisters Judy and her husband Rob, and Wendy and her late husband Frank. The family would like to thank Catherine, his Personal Support Worker, for her kindness and compassion over the years, and the Hospice at Home program for their care and compassion in his final days. Arrangements have been entrusted with Wilson Burial and Cremation Inc. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private interment will follow. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 15 George St, St. Catharines.
