George Price

George Price of St. Catharines, Ontario, passed away on August 16, 2026. He was predeceased by his mother Beatrice Price, his parents-in-law Gerhard and Sofie Peters, and his cousin Katherine Hegele (Robert). He is survived by his father Frank Price, his wife Anne, his sons Jason (married to Jane) and Nigel (married to Sharlene), his grandchildren Rheagan, Rhylenn Price, Sharlize, Annalize and Preston Price, his sisters‑in‑law Ingrid Torner (married to Dieter) and Trudy Kennedy (married to Steve), his nieces Natalie Torner and Rachel Kennedy, his nephew Matthew Kennedy, and his cousin Charlotte Empey (married to Larry), as well as numerous extended family members and friends. A memorial gathering was held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1. The funeral service took place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, same address. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice Niagara.
