Dina Sferrazza

Dina Sferrazza of St. Catharines, Ontario, was born on February 4, 1933, and passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband Salvatore, her parents Giovanni Facciponte and Rosaria Facciponte, and her siblings Fedele (Antonietta), Giovanna (late Giuseppe), Gaspare (late Lina), Michelangelo (Elvira), Calogero (Antonietta), and Giacomino. Dina is survived by her children Carmelo (Angela), Giovanni (Michelle), Josephine Moretuzzo (Gerry), and Patti Washuta; her grandchildren Lindsay (Eric), Sam (Ryan), Alicia (Tai), Sandro (Danielle), Gio (Evan), Giulia, Anthony, Bianca, and Sawyer; her great-grandchildren Matteo, Vivian, Rydan, Marley, Juliana, and Evelina; and her siblings Salvatore (Giuseppina), Maria Grazia, and Lina (Nick). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Alfred's Church, located at 272 Vine St, St. Catharines, ON L2M4T3. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Niagara Region or to St. Vincent de Paul (cheque only) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
