David Charlie "Dave" Oscvirk

David Charlie Oscvirk, affectionately known as Dave, passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Broderick, Saskatchewan, to Martin and Rose Oscvirk, Dave was the second youngest of nine children. He married Betty Ann Tytula on April 27, 1963, in Saskatoon, and together they built a warm home that became a gathering place for generations of loved ones. Dave was a dedicated tradesman who worked in auto body repair and as a shipyard welder at Port Weller Dry Docks, later teaching welding at Niagara College until his retirement in 2006. He was a proud member of UAW Local 666 since 1967. Dave is survived by his devoted wife Betty, loving children Jacqueline, Karen, and Dawn, and their spouses Kevin and Ivan. He was a proud grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
