Daniel Anthony "Dan" Smyth

Daniel Anthony 'Dan' Smyth passed away on February 28, 2026, at Chatham, Ontario. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Diane Chapman. Dan was a loving stepfather of Jeffrey Chapman, Shelby Chapman, and Paul Chapman. He was a cherished grandfather of Eve, Faye, and Gwen Gilbert, and Stanley and Rae Chapman. Dan is also survived by his siblings, Beth White and John Smyth, and his brother-in-law, David Devine, among others. He was predeceased by his first wife, Virgeline, in 1997, and his brothers, Joe and Jim. Dan will be remembered for his kind soul and generosity towards others.
