Catherine (Kay) SMITH

Catherine (Kay) Smith passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 98. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Jessie Smith, her sister, Lorna, and her brother, Gary. Catherine is lovingly remembered by her brothers, Glen and his wife Eva, and Marvin and his wife Sharon. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Catherine is survived by her long-time friend Florence Smith of Collingwood, who was her friend for 90 years. After retiring from General Motors as an office administrator, Catherine enjoyed skating at the Ridley and Jordan skating clubs and bird watching with the Naturalists society. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and an inurnment will be held at Victoria Lawn at a later date. Donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada or ALS Society of Canada would be appreciated in her memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services Inc.
